First Day at Work

First day for me went very well.  Things were a little slow in endoscopy, which was fine.  We did a few cases together.  The endoscopy resident is outstanding and pretty much independent after 6-months.  They have a wonderful endoscopy team who seem like a family.  Had some time to round with the Medicine team in anticipation of the weekend.  Went for a walk before dinner and found some beautiful flowers and met a new friend (see pictures!).  The hospital dentist and his wife who coordinates visiting physicians invited us for dinner.  The next nearest dentist is over 40 kilometers away!  Wonderful dinner with a wonderful family.  Ready for bed.  We do put down mosquito nets.
